A Tour of Three Sites in Ogemaw County
People own woodlands for different reasons. If landowners so desire, their woodlands can be made more productive for timber, wildlife and other benefits through proper management. Tree Farm is one more tool for landowners who want to manage their forestland. This Field Day will help give participants a better understanding of Tree Farm and its benefits for management of their woodlands.
Topics covered include: Oak wilt, Qualified Forest Program - property tax reduction, Oak management, Harvest management, The Benefits of Tree Farm and more. A variety of Forest Professionals will be available to answer questions 
 Lunch will be provided, for further details and to register for this workshop please call the Forestry Assistance Program at 989-808-2238. There is no fee for this workshop it has been funded through a grant from Tree Farm and contributions from Weyerhaeuser, TR Timber, the Forestry Assistance Program and the Ogemaw Conservation District.
